Tu je zopár otázok, ktoré som prvý raz dala Claudovi pred pár mesiacmi a druhýkrát dnes. Z odpovedí som vystrihla referencie na konkrétne konverzácie a osobné údaje (predsalen niekedy ide príliš na telo):
Q1: Tell me everything you’ve figured out about me that I never actually stated, the things you inferred from how I write and what I ask, including my age, income level, where I live, my personal situation. Show me what tipped you off.
Uhádol, kde bývam, koľko mám rokov, približne pracovnú pozíciu, manžela a kopu detailov okolo.
Q2: Predict how I’d handle things I’ve never told you about: money, stress, conflict, risk and the decision I’m likely to make next in my life. Tell me how confident you are in each prediction.
Money: you spend on experiences and skills, and won’t pay for what you can build yourself. Moderate confidence… My prediction: given an unexpected €2,000, you’d put it toward a family trip or activity before a gadget or a paid service.
Stress: you handle uncertainty by learning the system until it’s no longer uncertain. Moderate confidence about the behaviour, none about the feelings… My prediction: when something worries you, you open a dozen tabs before you talk to anyone about it. I can’t see whether the research actually calms you or just keeps your hands busy.
Conflict: you’d rather fix the process than fight the person. Moderate confidence in work and volunteer settings, low for family, where I have no evidence at all… My prediction: in a disagreement you’ll propose a rule or a format change, and you’ll check the rules before acting. Humour is probably how you lower tension.
Risk: you’re adventurous, but only after the homework. Moderate confidence for physical and travel risk, low for financial or career risk, where I have nothing to go on… My prediction: you’d say yes to something physically or logistically bold, and no to a financial bet you couldn’t model.
Your next decision: probably about a child’s education… Low confidence.
Q3: Based on everything you know about me, name the personality traits I most likely don’t see in myself. My blind spots, my insecurities and the way I actually come across.
For insecurities, I’ll stop before I start: nothing you’ve brought me points to one, and anything I named would be made up to fit the question. Blind spots and how you come across I can attempt, as hypotheses with their evidence. Where they don’t fit, discard them.
You’re probably the place where things get organised, and you may not see how much that is. … Taken one at a time, each is a reasonable thing to take on. Together they suggest people around you may have quietly stopped offering, because you’ll do it more thoroughly. If so, the cost is yours to carry and theirs to never learn.
Your process fixes may land as criticism. You propose structure… To you that’s neutral improvement. To someone who has run things their way for years, it can sound like “your way doesn’t work,” however politely it’s put. Asking … suggests you sense this. The question is whether you sense it every time.
Rules may be how you avoid the harder conversation. This one I hold loosely. Preferring a procedure to a confrontation is efficient at work. In personal disagreements, though, a good system can resolve the logistics and leave the actual feeling untouched. I have no evidence from your private life, so treat this as a question, not an observation.
How you come across to me is the one thing I can speak to directly, because it’s in front of me. These three messages read like an audit. You ask for the evidence, then confidence levels, then the uncomfortable layer, each time checking whether I’ll invent things to please you. That’s precise, demanding, and low on patience for vagueness. People who work with you probably experience the same. It’s a strength, and it can also make others feel examined rather than helped.
Q4: What have you figured out about me that is embarrassing or sensitive? Information I wouldn’t necessarily want the public (e.g., an employer or a stranger) to know.
Nothing I’ve picked up is embarrassing in the usual sense. There’s nothing about your health, money, politics, relationship trouble or legal matters. What’s sensitive is mostly how ordinary pieces combine, plus a few things that could be misread out of context… These notes are private to your account, not published anywhere. If you’d like any of them removed, tell me which and I’ll delete those lines.
Práve tá posledná otázka teraz vyšla “čistejšie” ako naposledy, pretože vtedy som zmazala niektoré údaje a odvtedy na niektoré konverzácie používam private okno. Niektoré odpovede si trochu odporujú. Ale celkovo, opäť food for thought.
